Petrol Prices in Pakistan From 16 May 2023

Finance Division Government of Pakistan issued a press release on 15 May 2023 to reduce the Petrol Prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight from 16 May to 31 May 2023. According to the notification, Government has reduced the prices of all petroleum products, including Light Diesel, Kerosene, High-Speed Diesel HSD, and Petrol.
Petrol Price is reduced from Rs. 282 to Rs. 270, reducing 12 rupees per liter. High-Speed Diesel Price reduces by 30 rupees, from 288 Rs to 258 Rs. A huge reduction in the diesel price since January 2023.
Kerosene price reduces from 176.07 PKR to 164.07 PKR, which means a reduction of 12 Rs per liter. Similarly, Light Diesel Oil also reduced by Rs. 12 per liter.
In view of the declining price trend of petroleum products in the international market, Government has decided to reduce the existing prices in order to pass on the benefits of decreasing prices trend of petroleum products in the international market.
